PRODUCTS
What is Satin?
Satin refers to the weave, not the textile. Most Satin fabric has smooth and shiny finish that can be seen anywhere. This makes it ideal for out hair because our hair can glide over the fabric whereas when we use cotton our hair can get entwined in the fabric causing snagging and pulling.
How often should I wash my satin items?
We recommend once a week to wash your satin items this helps to keep them free from product and less excess oils help healthy hair and skincare.
How should I wash my satin items?
As all our products are handmade we strive to have high quality control, however small pieces of thread may bet left behind. The best way to get rid of them is to NOT pull them but to trim them as close to the end as possible.
Please be aware that some darker colours may run/transfer onto other fabrics due oils or sweating. Although we strive to find fabrics that don't transfer this is not always possible. The best way to help prevent this happening is to follow the care instructions given on the care card received in your order, wash before use and try and avoid the excessive us of oils.
